How Teatime Treats Began
Teatime Treats has developed as a result of using my baking skills to raise money for a trip to Cambodia in July 2015, where I will undertake a month’s voluntary work.
I first started selling my cakes at the Salisbury Teenage Market in 2014. This helped me to develop my range of prodcuts as I had the opportunity to study current consumer demands and preferences. I started with a selection of cupcakes and traybakes, but I have now expanded my range to include mini loaf cakes and gluten free millionaire shortbread.
Having studied Geography and Food Technology I have a passion for using fairtrade, organic and local ingredients where possible. I am hoping to develop and expand my business in the future alongside studying for a degree in Hospitality Management.
